I am a regular at a certain pub, every thursday they have a quizz evening, and I am on one of the teams.
Last week I saw a really hot guy. Brown hair, glasses (he looks sexy with glasses). I noticed instantly that he was alone, and I noticed that he does not smoke the entire evening. (No, I was not staring at him; my eyes passed over him from time to time.)
I get the vibe from him that he is gay.
Now, I do not want to "pick him up", I want to get to know him a bit and after finding out more about him decide if I want to pursue a relationship with him.
I more or less have the idea how I will approach, as he will be there in a group...
Because I was in the closet for so long, never had a boyfirend, and I have never had a girlfriend either, as I never wanted a girlfriend(sad for a 24yr old!) so I feel a bit inept, Not in the intitial approach, but in how to proceed.
How do I know the right time to reveal I am gay? How do I let him know I am interested but not easy?

Go talk to him. When I see a cute guy I go over to him. I am not lesbian though. Who cares if you are gay, gay people are good friends. . .they are like every one else, well back to the subject, next time you see him get to know him and become FRIENDS. Is he gay? well after awhile, make sure he knows you are gay, if he not yet knows. ell, GOOD LUCK

In a pub? Best thing is to ask the bartender to take him a drink and tell him it's from you. He can accept or reject without embarrassing either of you.

Meet up again, talk - whatever.
Then after you talk again, the second time, tell him then.
Be like, "Listen. I don't want to give you the run around; I'm gay. And I'm also interested in getting to know you better! Wanna see a movie or get a cup of coffee on a day that's good for you??"
I think that'll speak volumes about what you desire.

well firstly you got to find out if he is gay, if he is, then say well hey me too, and say things like, i think we'll be good friends, talk to him every so often, become close freinds, and when youve become close, ask him, but if he isnt gay then just leave it, and push ur temptations away, go to a gay bar or something, if you really want a realtionship

lol, I just come up to a guy ans ask if they have a boyfriend or a girlfriend. Sometimes I feel insane asking that, but the result is what matters. If they say "im not gay" I just smile and answer "cool man, thanks". It's really that simple.

Just bring the subject to it gradually, and see what his thougts are. Bring up gay marriage or something.
