Nope. Personally, I thin there are worse things on TV that are actually marketed to kids that I wouldn't let my child watch. Yet, soaps are technically marketed to housewives, still, and I think some of them are much better. Guiding Light is a good soap, as has been said, with good storylines andacting. I thought Daisy's abortion was pretty good. I'm not for abortion, but I like the negetive impacts it's having. I would like to see something in June or July with Daisy realizing that this would have been the month that her would be child is born.
Anyway, when my husband and I started dating, we were in college. He introduced me to Days of Our Lives and said that he started watching it a couple of years prior (he was a junior) because it was on between two of classes.
Nope. Not weird at all.

no... it's the afternoon , and people watch whatever is on , even if it is not that great sometimes. But GL has some exccellent acting and storytelling... so it isn't weird, it's just good taste- and lack of other better shows to watch ...
DOn't skip school or neglect your homework to watch it. it isn't that good!
According to an article in the NY post they are about to reinvent GL in the style of "the Hills " , with lots of exterior shooting and handheld camera shots... They will do a lot of shoting in a real town in New Jersey. we will start seeing this 'new' GL in January.... should be interesting . As long as they don't have any of the people from "the Hills" on, i'll be watching....

i have read of Pro football and baseball team members who watch Soaps- i remember there was a team that were big AMC fans and a few appeared on the show with "erica kane'
I really don't see that much difference between 'soaps' and stuff like pro wrestling and some 'reality' shows- i happend to see a WEDDING taking place recently on a 'wrestling' show-complete with unwanted guests barging in and causing trouble- if THAT is not "soapy" I don't know what is LOL

NO I've been watching it for years now I started when I was about 13... anyways my brother is 16 and last year he was addicted to it he actually skipped his last period of school so he'd be home in time to watch it... he was addicted to the Ava/Coop story line before Lizzie got pregnant! he has stopped watching it so he can get his marks up in school! but when he has a day off he watchs it and asks me to catch him up on whats been going on. My bf is 23 and he watchs it with me on his days off it's his favorite soap that I watch (I also watch As the world turns and days of our lives)... nothing wrong with you watching and enjoying it!!

nicely, i think of you're too previous for her at this degree in life. 4 years isn't plenty at a later degree in life, yet you may think of of all that has occurred to you between 13 and 17. I mean, it relatively is a international of distinction, and if her brother has issues of it i'm specific her dad and mom could too. the 2nd you hit 18 there'd be a international of issues that'd be greater useful to circumvent, assuming his sister does such as you lower back. perchance later in life, even though it relatively is greater useful to purely no longer think of roughly. What the "preppy cheerleader" reported to you became into horribly irrelevant on an identical time, in all danger attempting to purely prop her own self up on the pedestal that she's used to being on in maximum folk's eyes in case you question me, so i would not precisely run to her the two--yet all in all it relatively is in all danger maximum suitable to purely lay low and stay single in the mean time. If somebody greater your age catches your eye perchance make a flow on her. Is it weird and wonderful? no longer in all danger, you in all danger fell for her because of the fact which you felt you ought to connect with her, which how can that be weird and wonderful? appearing on it can be a various tale, yet issues like this happen continuously. do no longer undercut your self.

No. There are actors your age that star in all the soaps. I highly recommend One Life to Live and General Hospital though. GH has awesome mob drama.
