Equal rights. Only really this time. The subtle ways in which this Christian based male dominated society undermines women is deep seated and all pervasive. Right down to the fact that God is a "he" Jesus is a "he" and the closest thing name-wise in the bible is jezebel (Jesus, Jezebel, note the similarity) An evil whore. Hysterical, Hysterectomy, same root word, what's the connection there? "A sentance like: "A newborn human infant is unable to fend for himself." but never will you say "...herself" as male is the default gender. These are just a few of the myriad male-biased parts of our everyday speech and it doesn't stop with language. The most insidious thing about this type of bias is that it is well known and accepted even by most women yet completely not recognized as wrong. The latest crime against women in my opinion is the double standard present in our views about body weight and the pressure women feel (and men don't) about being even the slightest bit overweight. Intellegent, aware people somehow have no trouble accepting this flagrant example of prejudice and bigotry. It's disgusting if you ask me and it makes me cringe to think about and I feel shame for my fellow (ahem) person.

"Fantasyman" who comes to work dressed in a thong, toolbelt & nice looking comfortable work shoes w/or without socks. He's gonna climb the ladder, all the windows need a thorough washing, and then all the other odd jobs around the house. I'm gonna sit back, drink my tall glass of tea, intelligent conversation, and observe.
Qualifications: not overweight, certifed for any/all houshold/gardening-chores and repairs, converse in several languages, well traveled, intellectual and any nationality.
