I think it might be "She Won't Let Go" by Kramer. He mumbles something like that at the beginning of the song, but according to his website it's not listed as part of the song.

The band could be Brand New Heavies or House of Love. Both groups recorded songs titled I Don't know Why I love You. Both bands on Youtube.
