hmmmmm.....i guess ill store some cards which i received before and then my personal stuffs which i dont want others to see like my personal diary.

Every year, I keep a box from one of the Grand children's shoes and keep mementos for that year as a time capsule.
I keep $store junk, key chains, rubber bracelets, cereal box toys, McD's toys, used toothbrushes with characters on them. All things to remind them of what it was like when they were little. I mark each box with the year and secure w/clear tape and stash away in the closet. Have been doing this for 11 years. The oldest Grandchild is 11.

It depends on your possessions. Books, Scrap paper, DVD's, photos, old schoolwork, accessories...anything that you have a lot of, possibly.
