mostly cash.....but I do a lot of ordering on line...so credit card there......

Not credit card, no way! Look what happened with TJ Maxx debit and credit card users last Christmas. Besides that, January bills come in and need to be paid. If you use credit cards to Christmas shop with and then pay them off in January....what sense does that make? Why not just pay cash in the first place? I put $25 a week in savings via direct deposit. If I see something I want to get for someone throughout the year, I'll buy it and put it in the closet after wrapping and labeling it. I keep a list of what I get so when I go Christmas shopping I don't duplicate. I take my cash and put it in my front pockets. Big amount in left pocket and smaller amount in right pocket (enough to cover purchase) Then I'll make a comment to the cashier about spending all my money in one place, just in case someone bad is watching or listening. You never can be too careful. Desperate people come out at that time of the year.

Either with cash or a credit card which I pay off at the end of the month anyways. I feel rushed when it comes to paying so I try and not pay with cash a lot because I feel like I'm holding up the line or something.

Credit card with a cash back offer. As long as you pay it off in full. No point going into debt for one day! It's not like you didn't know Xmas was coming. You've had all year. But you could get 4% cash back with capital one card!

Debit because I never carry cash...and as little as possible on the credit cards, don't like to be in debt
