I am not about to tell a woman what she can or cannot do with her body. That is between her religious leader and her.
What about a girl of some religions who has 8 brothers and sisters, and has been taught that contraception is wrong, yet gets "pressured" into that "one time"? We tell her she can't use protection, and that she can't have an abortion either? She is not allowed to protect herself even from disease, yet if she does get pregnant, she must have the baby out of wedlock? Well, geez, why don't we just throw the kid out the first time they miss a car payment also!!!
I think each case is separate and you can't put them all in one bag to say "legal or illegal".
However, my tax dollars should not pay for it except in cases of rape, incest, or other criminal acts.
If it is my loved one, all I can do is be there for her while she does what she thinks is best.

So all you people that think that it is "just legalized murder" have it all figured out don't you. Also for those that think that the only education that kids should get from public schools in abstinence your just a real genies. This world is very complicated with very complicated choices to make. No I do not think that abortion should be aloud to be used as a form of birth control. There should be better education in the schools about safe sex. This to me is just bull crap that anybody is going to come on here and rip into some one that has had to make that awful choice is just ridiculous. Well good day and remember:
Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath bringeth the punishments of the sword, that ye may know there is a judgment.

I, personally, have only this to say; Considering the way the world is today, I would rather leave off any discussion of abortion until all the children presently waiting in the foster care system, regardless of age or health problems, has been adopted into a family that will give them the love and care they deserve. I only wish I had the monetary means to adopt a couple of kids myself. Only then will I discuss the topic of abortion.

That's exactly what it is, a legalized form of murder. I did a debate in high school on this issue and an unborn child has a heartbeat as early as 6 weeks. I don't care what people say about not being a life because it is not self sufficient. Any pregnant woman that has an ultrasound, knows that there is a live being inside them. For those women that don't want the child or can't take care of it, there are far too many people out there wanting to adopt children. I don't think taking 9 months out of your life to give another human being a chance is asking too much. Also, there are far too many forms of birth controls available for a woman to have to make the choose to terminate an unborn child. Check this out. Keep in mind, that abortions are done up to 5 months pregnant.http://www.babycenter.com/pregnancy-fetal-development-index

I believe that everyone is allowed to make there own choices especially when it is concerning their body and their lifestyle. I think that we sometimes get caught up with the fact that abortion is the "murder" of a child but we never take the time to consider the circumstances of the person carrying the child. Life is always two-sided its just that noone takes the time to look at both sides. We in america are free and this is just another choice that we have. This is not much different than a person's choice to smoke or drink alchol which in itself is another form of murder. Think outside the box that society has created for you and then you will really understand your fellow man.

Shouldn't be used as a form of birth control. If the far right wanted to stop abortions, they should be for giving birth control on request to high school students for free.

to see children grow up in care is not fair and i use the word care very loosely. i live in UK where women can get abortions as they please for no cost, it is a choice a crap choice to have to make. but in this day and age we as men and women should know how to get and use contraception. contraception is the key. morally it is murder you are killing a living thing. on the other hand it is just as wrong to bring a child into this world with no intention or ability to care for that infant

I know a woman who's teenage daughter had an abortion without her mother's knowledge. That is now their saddest regret. (They didn't tell the young girl that in a 'suction procedure' they actually first crush the baby's head.) Yes I believe it is nothing short of murder.

If it needs to be done to save a life, no but if it's being used as a form of birth control, then yes.

I don't believe is murder, because first of all a fetis is NOT a baby
most importantly, most of the people that wants to have an abortion is either because they got pregnant too young or they don't have enough finacial ability to support the baby.
So if they are no able to give the child enough resource for it to grow up to live in this society without causing problems or live on financial aids then they shouldn't have the baby
It's only going to cause more problems to this society
