The Lewis Hamilton show this afternoon was biased as usual.
The commentators went a little quiet after his drop to 18th. I cheered as many others will have.

I don't know what went on with him, I guess he got nervous or something. I didn't cheer though I'm not a Lewis fan... I was looking out for Kimi and Alonso's positions... But anyway, Kimi deserves the title! And I do hope McLaren don't win the appeal because that would be so unfair!!

IT WAS A NAIL BITING EDGE OF THE SEAT STUFF, I was praying for a miracle. Lewis took some stupid risks which went wrong for him and then the faulty gearbox as well, the afternoon just was n't going Hamilton's way. Still he done good, and next year our bright star will be burning brighter and better than ever. I hope all his damn critics just give him a break , let him shine as he is meant too!

Lewis Hamilton didn't come unstuck.....it was the gearbox which got a bit confused.

Had he not made the 3rd pit-stop, he would have finished at least 5th and picked up the championship. A team error is a team error, and Hamilton did all that was required of him.

Are you any good at anything yourself?

Not really. Yes he messed up when trying to take his position back from Alonso but what caused him to drop to 18th was beyond his control and was a fault with the car and that's what cost him winning the championship. He then drove really well to finish 7th and I don't think that the "Wonder-boy came unstuck" at all. In fact I think he did a really good job today and still beat Alonso in the championship and should be proud of himself.

Shame about China! Should have come in 2 laps before! And what about the 'Gearbox Glitch' that was soooo unlucky!

Better luck next year Lewis!

It wasn't his fault that he went down to 18th, and it wasn't his fault he was told to stay out in China. It was his team that stopped him winning this championship. Look how he drove from 18th to 7th! there hasn't been any other rookie like him

It was history when the commentators FINALLY shutted up. Boy was it a breath of fresh air! I was basically going "Kimi please don't mess up!" at the closing stages of the race.

He didn't drop to 18th but anyway...

Your achievements must be impressive for you to deride his?

Do list them. I would want anyone making unfair assumptions that you might be some sort of .....failure?

ADDED:

Just out of interest...I notice that young Lewis comes in for some quite vitriolic criticism despite his high profile being predominantly associated to success...Isit coz 'ez black?
