seems to me that Hamilton's Maclaren team have made some very strange decisions recently. ..not bringing him in to change the tyres in the Chinese GP, not putting enough fuel in his car at the 2nd pitstop today.

You'd have thought an experienced team like Maclaren wouldn't make silly decisions like that...

Well another season is over, Yes it's sad that Hamilton didn't get the win but he's shown he's got what it takes.
As for being iffy, i don't think so. It's just motor racing.
You win some , you loose some, Bring on next year.
Rather Kimi win than Anlonso.

Do not blame McLaren.
The daddy of the motor racing business is Bernie Ecclestone.
Bernie stated several weeks ago that he still believed that Ferrari would win the championship.
Berni is extremely good at getting his forecasts right.
Shame on the F1 hierarchy for this sick finish that was so obviously fixed so as to avoid future legal challenges.

anthony j, goes to show you've only just started watching F1 if you say Hamilton is a crap driver, did you actually watch his overtaking today!?!? You are all a bunch of morons who have no idea about F1, go and watch football you hooligans and get off the F1 answer boards, i've never seen such bad F1 fans in all my life!

Oh and did Alonso actually turn up today?!?

Well done Kimi, finally it's your year.

Go Lewis it yours next year!

I believe Lewis blew his chance in China when he went off on the slip road to the pits. In this age when electonics can be adjusted from a considerable distance one has to ask whether this happened when he slowed down and dropped 10 places. Anyway, he lost his chance in China and needs to pull his socks up and hopefully McLaren will have a competitive machine available for him next season.

U r talking cr*p. Never ever will Lewis or any driver be more backed than this year in Mclaren!!!!...by his uncle-father Ron Dennis. He did not win because he COULD NOT HOLD THE PRESSURE, despite having 10 bhp more than alonso and second position in the grid. Alonso gave it to him right from the start,...exactly what he needed to do...and then hope the Ferraris would fail,...didn't happen! so Kimi is the fair winner. Hamilton,...back to what he is,...and really hope next year he has no experienced team mate he can parasyte or Ron by his side,...then we'll know what he really is capable of...

Uncle Bernie probably had a hand in what went "wrong". Go Kimi, but there was a smell of fish in the air.

as murray often said, thats motor racing...

i jusr watched the race like everyone else, and lewish over did it. he was just trying too damn hard...

but as bernie observed, he doesnt need to win it straight away.

it might teach hamilton some humility... F1 isnt merely about the driver... the rest of the team play their part, and its as much to do with the engineering as it is with the driver.

totally agree, he has out classed everyone this year, but i want to know if kimi's face would explode if he smiled?
it is still one of the most boring sports and i love motor racing, try watching touring cars much better racing and cheap to go and see aswell

It looked to me like he blew it to me. I know that as a racer you try to win but in the beginning he didn't have to race his mate and then mechanical trouble just happens. He hadn't had that much of it this year but it does happen to everyone.
