Contrasting the land size, Canada has 10 provinces and 3 territories as opposed to the US states, Canada has a parliament and a prime minister which is the same as the president of the US. The national sport is Lacrosse, many people think it's hockey but it is not. Also french is the second language but there is only one Bilingual province which is New Brunswick. Most of the population in Canada harbours on the border of the US. ie- 85% of Canadian live in Southern Canada.
The Canadian dollar is higher than the American dollar for the first time in 30 (ish) years (I think 37). Canada also has country wide medical care, no one is refused medical attention. BC has province wide auto insurance, the drinking ages in Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec are 18, everywhere else is 19. Toronto is more south than Minneapolis Minnesota;)
Hope that helps you out a little, good luck!!

Have you done any research or reading on this? Compare and contrast? Canada is the larger country. The Canadian dollar is worth more than the US dollar. That's two points to start with. You can take it from there.

Compare means similarities, Contrast means differences.
Do some searches on Yahoo, Google, Wikipedia, etc.
