In my science class, my science group consists of me and the two most obnoxious boys you could find. They're smart people, but they won't work! My teacher gives us classtime to work and all they do is talk. I'm getting so fed up with them! We get really behind on our projects and I end up taking them home and doing them alone. These boys are completely capable of helping me do the projects, but they won't. I've tried reasoning with them, yelling at them (not in a mean way), and I don't know what else to do!! Help me!

That happens alot. One person is a workaholic, the others do nothing.

If it really gets to you, let the teacher know. The teacher will reprimand them, or put you in a different group, or something. Or, if you want, ask if you can take all the credit for yourself for doing the work or don't put their names on it. Or you can just do your part, and sit there and goof off. Eventually they'll ask why'd you stop. Then you can tell them you did your part and they have to do theirs.

ok i know this different then all the other answers but this is what i did in math. so on your next project don't do any of the work. 3 things could happen 1. they could relize that your not working and start working then maybe doonn't help oon the next project 2. u could not do anything and get a f and then they will relize 3. they could not ccaare in that ccase u should tell yoour teaacheer if you are close anof to this teacher you coooould tell them what you are going to do with a possiblle chance to re taacke the test

thats happened to me a million times lol the best thing to do is take charge and start assigning them little parts of the project to do and if that doesnt work then explain to your teacher whats going on. Theres a good chance the teacher will either switch your partners or give them a lower grade than you

Talk to your teacher. Since they are doing none of the work or research they know nothing of what the project entails, so ask the teacher to create a pop quiz for those two. On the spot. No time to cram. It will show that they are doing none of the work.

Tell your teacher wats going on. He/She will most likely let you switch. If she doesnt try this: Assign each person a portion/task of the project. If they don't do it, they will be the person to blame and no one likes to be under that sort of pressure. That way, if everyone does their share, everyone is happy. But if someone doesnt do it, you have something to tell yr teacher.

Ask your teacher to be switched to another group and when he ask why, tell him that you are doing the majority of the work and have given them multiple chances to correct the situation.

Girl stop doing the work. Tell you teacher you want to switch or secretly tell her your the only one doing the work. By doing the work yourself u don't get enough credit so stop doing it let them be the one to.
