My sister is turning 12.
I have to get her a bday present.
Shes into all the normal 12 year old girl stuffff.
Any ideas on what to get her??

uh... disney stuff? like hannah montana and hs musical?
I dont really know i'm 17 and dont hang out with 12 year old girls. but thiers alot on my bus and they always talk about like hs musical and the jonas brothers (seriously, why are they so popular with little pre-teen kids?)

You sound like a kind and considerate sister to be thinking of which gift to get your sis :) I would agree that a gift card to one of her favorite stores such as barnes and noble or borders bookstore or music store would be a neat gift, and then she can purchase whatever she wishes.
And seriously perhaps as another kind of present, you can mention to her about the dangers of inhalants ('huffing' fumes), the deliberate inhalation of a gas or solvent such as glue, paint, gasoline, nail polish, perfume, air freshener, any type of aerosol spray can for a cheap, quick high. A friend has a traumatic brain injury (tbi) and other permanent damage including to her bone marrow (fatty inner lining of the bones that cushions joints and makes blood cells) when she was just age 12, now in her 30's. Her quality of life has really diminished since then so please do talk with your sis about it. If you don't know what to get her how should anyone else? Get her a gift certificate to her favorite store or ask some of her friends what they think she would like! Good luck!

from experience.. 12 year old girls like 12 year old boys...
actually at that age I just took then shopping and let them pick out what they wanted.
