Congratulations, today you are a man. Or whatever you really are.
You've grown up sweetie, they really are all alike and the only difference is who is in office.
Yes, they all do it, and when they are out of power its a shame the other side gets away with it.
But to try to stick with the truth, Clinton didn't dodge the draft he was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship and his draft board knew where he was. Bush, despite his discharge early so he could work on his fathers campaign, isn't remembered by anyone after a dental appointment in Georgia, surprising since you would think the son of a president, and later the president himself would be the cause of much showing of photos, of the "See, here I am with the man who would be President" sort. But instead no one remembers him. His records from that point are lost too.
Other than that, you are right on target, they pardon their own, they use connections where they can, they take all the money from everyone that they can. Bush by the way has admitted to being an alcoholic and been helped by his God and Laura. He also has a drunk driving arrest.
One more thing, in both sets, Halliburton makes money.
Who says Democrats are socialist?

When I heard that Clinton was giving no bid contracts to Halliburton when he was President it was 2004, and I heard this when I was on one of my anti-Bush tirades, and the people I was with said Clinton did the same thing, and I said well it was just as bad and wrong when Clinton did it.

I think I'm independent this republican/democrat non-sense that people like the asker like to fan the flames of,

both parties are doing damage to this country.

Both parties have allowed the handout society to florish, both parties have allowed the high cost of war to be born,

the sad thing is people who bury their head in the sand and like to play games like the asker and just demonize the other side, rather liberating to just realize both sides are to blame and attack both equally.

The Democrats wanted this SCHIP nonsense to cover families making 82,500 in some states. This was non neccessary. Republicans rightly blocked it.
John Bohner was on Fox News saying their bill would put 4 million kids on government health insurance and that was what they were willing to do because they recognized the need for a safety net.

Democrats didn't go for the compromise, and instead changed the topic to the Ottoman empire.

It is clear to me, as someone who has to choose sides, that it is far easier to align myself as a Republican.

However, I have to hold my nose when I do so, because I'm alligning with people like the person who asks questions like this, and its a foul stench of "liberal bad liberal bad liberal bad" and never a look in the mirror.

Its not neccessary to list all the failures of Bush, everyone on here who doesn't like Bush already knows the list. Everyone else who supports Bush has buried their head in the sand and will just tell me the arguements are not of substance.

I'll get told he has committed to crime.

Theres a big difference between being found guilty in a court of law, and being morally guilty.

I consider myself fiscal conservative, a foreign policy conservative (not a neocon), and a social liberal.

Naturally I'm excited over Rudy.

Hopefully if Rudy gets elected it won't be 4 years of people like the person asking this question playing more games of "but liberals bad".

Essentially its like a broken rush limbaugh record from 1993, they keep playing it, "clinton bad, liberal bad".

Its the same thing today, "clinton bad liberal bad".

The asker asks about Hsu and asks why liberals remain silent,

you know why . . .

Hillary gave the money to a Charity and didn't use it for her campaign, so where is the news story?

Give the Lady a star. Now keep spreading the word. Especially to these young minds who know nothing of which we speak. It's all Greek. No homework, research done at all. It makes me wonder how the primaries will turn out. And what numbers turn up to VOTE. Or... as usual just b*itch about what they got.

Good job my friend. You basically nailed it. Who cares?

like who's counting anyway?

POINT is vote responsibly. Do not fall for propaganda that flys from one aisle to another. Research is key. Even Billy Jeff C says Listening is the most important thang any politician can do.
MY draft record since you asked?

Because if a liberal does say something about his/her party, then nobody regards it as being liberal. And I really don't care what Bush has personally done in his youth. So what.
Republicans do it the same thing too.

So stop worrying about which canidate does what. Try to support the ideas you think are most valuable, regardless of what canidate (who did something thirty years ago) supports it.

See u r missing the point. Libs can do whatever they want and cons cant, I thought you would have learned that by now-jk. yeah, many love teh double standard policy, and many of us voters buy into that. i try not to be one, but whether you want to believe it or not, some try to brainwash us with useless phrases like 'pro-choice' or 'be patriotic and support Bush'. both phrases are fallacies. abortion is anti-choice, the baby doesnt get chance to be born. you can also be patriotic and disagree with our administration. but for now, our politicians will continue to use the double standard policy because there are people ignorant enough to believe their lies.

I am on your side. No matter what you say they turn a blind eye. Now you know they are going to say you are "BAD" for informing them of this, or "so what, everyone does this!" You can't win.
They don't realize conservatives do not justify wrong doing no matter what party!
Sometimes party loyalty is too much!

...don't worry when we have to fly to Europe to get health care!\
...don't worry when the medical systems already controlled by the Government ,,,"Medicare" is scheduled for insolvency!...lets just take more money and re name it Hillary Care!

...don't worry when all the Worker Bees go away and we are left to Starve!...don't worry be happy!

So you're saying the Republicans should all be just as outraged at the misdeads of the Republican leaders as you want the Democracts to be about their own? (I didn't think so.)
This was a very interesting list of all the things Republicans did which were just as bad or worse than Democrats. Thanks!
