I HAD GYNAE SURGERY AND later MY PERIOD WAS LATE, HEAVY, LASTED TWICE AS LONG AND A FEW DAYS LATER I AM GETTING VERY SWOLLEN BREAST- i only usually get this b4 period. and i am not pregnant

Yes, it can. A surgery is stressful and can alter your hypothalamus, your GnRH pulses to your pituitary gland, and the production of FSH and LH. Those hormones control the release of sexual hormones.

And if it was gyn, it can mean a point plus, depending on what they did.

Everything is supposed to be temporary and last only some months.

Your body goes through more stress than normal when you have surgery, and everybody's body reacts differently. Your problem could be from the surgery, or it couldn't(it could be something more seriously wrong). I would go see a doctor though.

yes it can. I started my period because of a surgery. So, it can affect it.

i dont think so but i would go back to your doctor just to be sure everything is ok
