It's all about how the hormones affect your body, and nothing to do with how much hair the baby has.

Below is a direct quote From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
Morning sickness, also called nausea, vomiting of pregnancy (emesis gravidarum or NVP), or pregnancy sickness, affects between 50 and 95 percent of all pregnant women as well as some women who use hormonal contraception or hormone replacement therapy. The nausea can be mild or induce actual vomiting. In extreme cases, known as hyperemesis gravidarum, hospitalization may be required to treat the resulting dehydration.
From personal experience, I have had three children and I never had morning sickness. You should thank your lucky stars as you are fortunate not to have to go through that.

Not everyone gets morning sickness. It has nothing to do with whether your baby has hair or not -- whoever said that doesn't know what they're talking about. Morning sickness is an evolutionary response that usually occurs at a time when the baby's nervous system is developing. Any disturbances from food toxins during this time would be very harmful to the fetus so most women have a built in response to vomit up "harmful" foods (whether they have ingested them or not). Not everyone exhibits this response so strongly, but that doesn't mean your baby will be affected.

You are indeed lucky since about 65 percent of all women get nausea with or without vomiting. So far I am 10 weeks and I have been spared too much vomiting but the constant nausea, 24/7, is driving me up the wall.
I also think since I never had problems with indigestion or heartburn before pregnancy, it has made me a bit whiney, lol.
Congrats on having a sickness free pregnancy!

It is sheer luck. I am now 8wks pregnant and I have had morning sickness almost all the time.. trust me you didn't miss anything...
As for the hair thing, old wives tales aren't always true and it doesn't pertain to the nausea, but to heartburn. It has been said, and I truely believe this, that if you have heartburn a lot or have sever heartburn your child will have a head full of heair. Trust me, I had it like 24/7 and my daughter actually came out with a full head of hair, and mad as sin. LOL
Hope this helps.

Well to me you are lucky, I had bad morning sickness with both my pregnancies. With the hair thing it is just a myth, but it is heartburn and having hair not morning sickness. Or at least that is what I have always heard.

Some women get morning sickness and some dont, just like some women still have their period when they are pregnant and most dont.
