Are we the Step moms From you know where or is it???

yes i do agree with alot of you on that last one...Is it really true that they say most if not all step moms are from h--??I am probably the nicest person you will meet and i have kids of my own but why is so much of the blame placed on us and our position as a stepmom???Dont you think some of the Kids are to blame??? Step moms please help me here....PS Its my house I bought it with MY own MONEY...

I'm a step mom to a 10 year-old girl, and I have a 7 year-old daughter. I treat them equally, and have to say it's been going pretty well (I've been married 1 1/2 years to her dad). We had to feel each other out for awhile, but have settled into a routine. We only have her every other weekend so that can be tough. I do know, though, that her mother, talks very poorly about me to her and never has anything nice to say about me (she calls me "that *****"-isn't that a nice thing to say to your daughter?!). Her biggest complaint is that my husband never married her (and neither did any of the other guys that fathered her 5 kids-4 different men, btw). She complains that I buy her things and take her on trips-well, we're fortunate we can do that, because my hubby and I both work; I'd like to tell her to get a job and quit living on welfare! Luckily enough, my step-daughter likes me despite what her mother says about me. And I say nothing but nice things about her mother to her, I actually have some manners!

step moms are not bad, there are some mothers who really don't care about the child and you have those mothers who love there step kids the same way they love there own kids. some step mothers are more loving and concerning than the biological mother. kids need to realize that no one can hurt them but there selves and being loved is a wonderful thing. just because they have step parents that does not mean that there own parent don't love them.
