Mears Shuttle is not the best deal for large groups because you pay per person.
Honestly, your best deal will be to rent a mini-van one way. There is a Hertz desk right there at Shades of Green but they don't allow one-way drop offs.
You can rent through Alamo, which usually has better prices anyway, and drop everyone & luggage off at the resort. One person can then drop the car off at the Alamo location at the Disney Car Care Center and their shuttle will bring you back to Shades of Green. Then do a one-way from Alamo for your return trip and drop the car at the Orlando International Airport.
If you don't want to drive, a van service that charges by the trip - rather than by the person - will be a better deal for your group. Here's a link that lists some orlando area services - I don't know how recently it was updated:

American Luxury Transportation provides good service at a good price but everyone I ever spoken to speaks English as a second language so be absolutely sure that everyone is perfectly clear about the travel dates and times.
Happy Limo & Tiffany Town Car always get great reviews but their prices are higher. I do have a discount code that will save a little on Happy Limo.

I had taken a shuttle service from Orlando Airport to one of the Disney World Resort almost 10 years ago. Search the internet for "local Transportations" and check the prices. They may have group rates also. They may have some discounts for purchasing the return ticket. Oh, also find out how much a taxi will cost and what is the maximum # of passengers they take. Taxi costs the same weather one person travels or four people travel.
Enjoy the resort.

Well your really going against the norm. Most people Fly to Orlando International Airport (MCO) and then take Disney Magical Express. From Lakeland airport your only options are going to be a very expensive cab that is going to be well over a 100 bucks or rent a small car and drive to Disney yourself.

It was mentioned before, but Mears is a great service in Orlando. Also, there used to be a taxi company - 699-9999 that we used to use a lot when we lived in Orlando. They have vans.
Everybody and their mother has airport shuttle service to DIS/MCO. Good luck.

Check out mears transportation. They are a shuttle bus and do stop are many hotels so it's not a straight shot from airport to your resort but they are cheap, convenient and experienced!

Mears! I have used them sooo many times! They are inexpensive. You can book entire shuttle, or if people are arriving separately they can all take a shuttle at their convenience to the resort.

We used a limo service. Cost us $89 RT for a town car. you would need something bigger, but most of them also offer RT services and a grocery stop.
In fact I did a lot of research, and most of them are similar in price.
If you haven't been to SoG since the refurb, it's amazing how much they have done to it! we just spent a week there last month.
