I'd like to give Matt Hardy his indy/online gimmick of Angelic Diablo. He did some really good promos with that gimmick, and when he came back to the WWE, I was hoping they'd let him use some of those videos, or at least the character in general. It also got him out of those ridiculous pants and gave him a new finisher, the Scar. Even with his position on Smackdown right now, I don't see Matt as a main event player, and a serious, close-to-life character like the Angelic Diablo gimmick would show he can have passion in a solid promo.
I'd execute it by giving him a kayfabe injury at the hands of Edge, maybe re-injuring his knee. Then, I'd have this video start popping up during Smackdown during Edge's reign http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKF7AcYQH_w and maybe have an ominous shadowy figure appear on the rampway on crutches during Edge's matches, maybe even have Matt start showing up in the audience in a wheel chair. Then, I'd have him jump the guard rail one night after constant taunting by Edge and have him beat the crap out of Copeland. I'd start having "shoot" interviews with the likes of Gregory Helms, Jeff Hardy, and Shannon Moore to put Matt over before his full blown return, have them tell about the dark side of Hardy.

Well I can see another Ultimate Warrior type coming out of a buff nobody, like Masters. I mean, he really has no gimmick and it's worth a shot. I'd first have him take a few weeks off and let everybody forget about him. Then I'd give him some face paint and a new outfit so he can move up to a seni-main-event level.

if i could freshen up a gimmick, it would be John Cena. he is a god wrestler but he has to get the fresh edge to his character. th eold rap star gimmick would be nice

I would freshen up Big Daddy V's gimmick. I would give him a shirt and make him a gentle giant.

I'd make him like a Barack Obama/Carlton Banks type, and have all the other black wrestlers accuse him of "being too white".

i would change john cena's gimmick into a guiltless street thug that will do anything to get what he wants even if that includes shooting his own father
