WELL IT JUST DEPENDS. SOME GIRLS HAVE PERIODS LIKE THAT. MY PERIODS AT THAT AGE WERE 3-4 DAYS WHILE SOME OF MY FRIENDS WERE HAVING THEM FOR 6-7 DAYS AND MAYBE MORE AT TIMES. ARE YOU GETTING A LOT OF HEADACHES AND FATIGUE? YOU SHOULD MAKE SURE YOU ARE GETTING ENOUGH IRON BECAUSE IF YOU ARE BLEEDING FOR THAT LONG YOU ARE PROBABLY LOSING MORE BLOOD THEN NORMAL WHICH WILL LOWER YOUR IRON. TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT IT. SOMETIMES THEY CAN PUT YOU ON A LOW DOSE BIRTH CONTROL PILL THAT WILL REGULATE YOUR PERIODS AND HELP WITH CRAMPS.

Perfectly normal. My daughter is the same age as you and has very irregular periods, sometimes lasting up to 7 days. As long as there isn't any abnormal pain or smell everything is fine. It can take years or sometimes never in some cases to have regular periods. Mines can last 7 days and come every 32-35days.
Once you are older and if they are still irregular and last too long, birth control can lighten and regulate them.
You'll be fine honey: )

that is totally normal! The most days that you can bleed is 11 days.If it lasts longer, get to a doctor.I have been bleeding for the last 2 months, went to a doctor and was put on a hormone called Provera.Your putotary gland in your brain and your ovaries are not used to each other.so that's why it may be long

Yes - I wouldn't worry about it. We are women and we have those things called HORMONES. I wish we could throw those things out the window!! But, they are funny things. They can do pretty much what they want. They're just basically playing tricks on you right now. If you continue to beed for more than 14 days, go to your doc. Otherwise, don't be alarmed. Your body is just getting you ready for the lifetime of those hormones playing tricks on you!

They last an average of 3-10 days.

If it goes past 10 days, call the doctor.
