It is safe to use a vibrator. As long as your doctor has not advised to avoid sex, then you are fine. I pasted some sources so you can see for yourself that is indeed safe. Just use common sense, make sure you clean it after every use, and before as well. People may feel it's dangerous because of infection, however a penis is not sterile either, and I doubt everyone is disinfecting their SO penis before sex.

Yep. If anything, it's easier/safer than actually having sex, cause there's not the issue of positions and pressure on your belly/back, and belly getting in the way!
