Just because he said Israel should be wiped off the map...

He is not the one that have destroyed Afghanistan, Irak and emprisonned innocent people for years before they are released in Guantanamo Bay... And by the way, where are the weapons of mass destructions?

George bush has brought more chaos to the world than Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. That guy can only play catch up!!

I'd like to see Iran with a nuclear bomb just to bring some sense to the negociations done in the future. A nuclear weapon is a great bargaining tool!

BTW: I like Americans, I think they are friendly and interesting people too. I just hate the cowboys who think they can rule the world with a stick and their supporters who make up the majority of this country, unfortunately... I can't believe they elected Bush twice!

I know that Americans are very much ignorant of what their government foreign policy is doing & has done in other nations. I know that this is also true for many other nations.

I know that there was a regime change in Iran, where the British and Americans engineered replacing a good monarch with the Shah of Iran & that this was done for 2 main reasons ... British Petroleum was greedy, did not want so much taxes going to benefit the people of Iran, and there was a Cold War on, where the conflict between Communism and Capitalism meant that it was Ok to obliterate everyone else in that conflict.

I know that, in general, regime changes are disasterous for the people who engineer them, the most spectacular example being Germany engineering the Marxist revolution in Russia, at the end of WW I & look at the devastation on Germany in WW II, that would not have been the case had the ruler of Russia still been the old order.

But nations keep doing regime changes because there is no teaching in history about these past disasters.

Afghanistan is also a victim of the Cold War.

The number of nations devastated by the Cold War is enormous, and the people of America and Russia are for the most part totally ignorant of what was done in that conflict.

Iran has what America wants namely oil and geographically speaking a strategically important place on the world map.In Ahmadinejads place i would wish to have nuclear capability as an effective defence mechanism.

Of course desiring to wipe other nations off the map is not so bad. Nuclear weapons can't do any real harm. Building schools, clinics, and democracy is what is really destructive, no matter who is in charge. I wouldn't even trust Clinton not to build schools.

No, he doesn't imprison innocent people (That you know of, anyway)...He only hangs people for being gay and executes women by stoning just because they were victims of rape, that's all. Nobody gets lethal injection here for such petty reasons . Oh, and he doesn't bomb countries, he has Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and Hamas on the payroll to do the dirty job for him. Way to be a gullible tool for that a-hole.

Jim.... and I know a great number of Americans that sent enormous humanitarian aid TWICE to Iran when it suffered two devastating earthquakes that killed thousands of them, despite all that "Death to America" chants and burning of our flag.

I know numbers of Iranians held candle light vigils on 9/11. Pretty risky stuff in Iran. Maybe if American politicians would stop interfering in Midlle eastern nations & politics, those who live there would not be so pissed off at us.

It seems that we know as much about Iran as Iranians are allowd to know about the UK...that is unless they live in a relatively free democracy!

You really are one dense dumbass if you think Mahmoud doesn't imprison innocent people. He hangs people just for being homosexuals, for crying outloud. What color is the sky in that fantasy world of yours?.
