That might actually be kind of fun...that means that you can dance around with anyone and just act crazy in general without having to worry about what your friends think of you.

That is an interesting question. I'd say to stay safe is to stay away from drugs and to not get drunk before going to the concert. For being able to fit in, just be yourself and have fun by connecting with the band music. Everyone is enjoying themselves so you should to! Don't worry totally too much on what others think of you . It's the truth that matters the most.

It might help to socialize a bit with a few people around you. You never know you might see them again at another concert and become good friends. If you can't do that just enjoy the show.

Forget fitting in, you're there to enjoy the show. Just get into the band and forget what you look like. I've been to many shows alone- and probably made an idiot of myself at several of them, but who cares. It's the show you remember, not the impression you made.

I've never been to a concert by myself for the entire time, but I usually just start dancing with whoever is nearest/hottest.

take common sense precautions......don't tell people you don't know that you're there alone, don't tell them your life story, don't flash your money, don't put yourself in situations where you could be open to anything unecessarily.
Make sure you know where the security/police posts are.....you can be friendly to others there but use common sense
