There are really 4 fluids in this colum what is the 4th fluid?
they are corn syrup vinegar and cooking oil
cooking oil is on the top of the graduated cylinder
next in vinegar
and after that is corn syrup on the bottom
and it said there are really 4 fluids what is the 4th
please help me it is doo tomorrow

This is interesting.
From the view point of physics, air is a fluid. When dealing with engineering calculation, air usually can be regarded as fluid.

The question says 4 fluids. There is a huge possibility that air is the 4th fluid. Since oil is on the top (nothing less density then oil, that mentioned in the question), vineger (aqueous) in the middle. If water present, it should be miscible with vineger.
