I have this vision in my head, about a man who is obsessed with finding this woman he met, and made love to, in a lavish castle in the desert; once leaving the castle, he tries to go back late, and can no longer find the girl, or the castle. When he tries to bring it up with the local populous, they either ignore him, or outright become enraged that he brought it up. The more he tries to find her, the more obsessed he becomes, until he becomes quite mad...
...it's sorta a contemporary take on the legend of the siren, but I don't know the title, and I'm not entirely sure it wasn't a dream...
...does anyone have any idea what I might be talking about, as far as this possibly being a movie, or have I gone mad with obsession, as well...
