I am looking into starting a non-profit org to help Seniors with pets. Check around for senior programs in your community. I bet you could volunteer. Seniors that go into the hospital need people to help take care of their houses while they are gone. You could do this free of charge. Just bring in the mail, water the flowers. Just keep an eye out for people that need a helping hand.

ok i love old people they have so many stories but i like to help buy volintering at a nursing home and go and listen and do things with them. even making them a card will put the bigest smile on there face or listening no one ever listens to them you may have heard the story 10 times but that dont matter just show you care!

You can sit and talk with them. Go over and help them with different things. If in a nursing home, visit, bring them small things to cheer them. Just be there for them.

volenter at anursing home or maybe volenter at alocal hospital as you have a lot of elderly people in hospitals that do not have any vistors even if you just sat with them to give them some company

Spend some time with them. Listen to them reminisce and talk to them about what's going on in your life. They like to stay connected.

They can go shopping for them, help clean the yard, clean the house, make phone calls for them, cut or style their hair, give manicures.
