She can hide out at my house for a few weeks. I seem to be experiencing a terrible mouse problem. Today is national bleach everything from top to bottom of the house and every miniscule hole will be covered with something. But, I am sure it won't work so I am certain I could put your cat to work and be in the witness protection program at the same time. She can even bring her gun if she can get rid of these damn mice.

You can try a ladder if the tree's not that tall, or give the cat time, it'll come down, after it works up a little courage. Ain't never seen a cat starve to death in a tree, and I've had and have cats.. Be patient, though it can be distressing, for both you and the cat.

Open a can of Whiskas, place artfully in a martini glass with a side dish of water and place on silver tray under the tree, all while avoiding random potshots from the top of the tree. Does kitty have a semi-automatic, shotgun, or a sniper rifle?

This calls for Charlie Tuna intelligence, Chicken of the Sea sneakiness, and Bumble Bee sting operations !! Open and toss like grenades !!
(a) she will run out of ammo shooting at the cans
(b) she will not be able to resist the triple combo tuna attack
(c) call in a male cat negotiator, perhaps she is having finicky frustrations.
BY ALL MEANS DO NOT ATTEMPT TO HANDLE THIS ALONE !!

Pretend you're not interested, turn your back on kitty and serve yourself a fresh plate of pilchards. That ferocious feline will soon abandon her weapons and start stroking herself against your leg. Either that, or invite me. As a sufferer of cat hair allergy I find that I become a magnet to the creatures...I swear they KNOW and target me sadistically. Achhoooo!

I had a cat that would climb up and get stuck in trees only when she was pregnant. In fact, that was how we would learn of it! And she would never come down on her own and my hubby would have to climb the tree to get her.

Get a better gun. Then threaten the cat. If that doesn't work you can always sneak behind her and spray her with a hose. (I think it's cats that dont like water, right?)

Just give her the meow mix and cat nip and she'll surrender the gun. Maybe once she get's her fix you can try a12-step program for her.

You need a high powered electromagnet. That'll get you the gun, and maybe the cat (if she's wearing a collar).
