Ok... I have been trying to think up SOMETHING asweome to do for my sweet sixteen in December... but every idea I come up with doesn't go over so well with the guys I know... And I really want to have a sweet sixteen that my girl and guy friends will all generally enjoy... so... any ideas? Please be descriptive!!! lol... yes, I'm desperate!!!

One of my friends told me that I should do something like... ummm... well, picture the yule ball from HP4 (if you've seen the movie). Another of my friends thinks that I should have a solid white party.... have everyone dress in white, white snowflakes everywhere, very wintry... but I've mentioned these idea to two of my guy friends, who both said they were cheesy ideas.

rent a hyundai sonata or an accent they are both crappy little cars and take it out in the woods and jump it thats what i would do if i were you i am sure eveyone would enjoy that

Not knowing much about your friends, it is difficult to mention anything specific, but think about what it is that all of you discuss when you are together and that both the girls and the guys enjoy. Is it music? Sports? Movies? Then you can develop something around that theme. Alternately, is there a place where you can all go where you could all have a good time, even if at times there might be some separation of the sexes? For example (maybe because I'm in charge of a very popular boarding club on campus), when I think December, I'm thinking snowboarding. The guys can do their showing off, some of the girls might be good at it too, but others might just want to hang at the lodge looking cute and drinking hot chocolate or something.

The simplest thing would be to have a house party, and let the people make the event: provide a good table and good music with lots of dancing space.
Or rent out a place somewhere and have them arrange everything for you.
A beach party would be nice, if the weather was right.

k ive tried this n this is fun...u cud have a superstar sweet sixteen wer every1z dressed as sum famous celebrity...u can make them walk down the red carpet n stuff n also ask dem to autograph ur "WALL OF FAME"(that could be just a chart hung on ur door or wall) as they leave...n make it a super sixteen nite....wid a live show going on( u could hire ppl 2 do it) or just hav sum talented family member perform....n u can add as many things as u can create wen u think of stars.......dis idea workz really well wid guyz too.....have a blast!!

Perfect for guys and girls: Down the beach: Hang out the whole day (no adults) then at night: Rent out the waterpark to yourselves. You can definitely do it at some beaches where the waterparks close after dark.

How about a costume party. Have them to wear a costume depicting their favorite singing artist and have a Karaoke machine with corresponding songs & a contest for best renditions.

BEACH PARTY!!!!! I mean girls and guys alike LOVE the beach right??? rent out a place, or even your house or whatever and make it look like the beach (or just do it at the beach. but then you dont really have any control over other ppl that happen to be at the beach that day..)...or HAWAII. !!!!!!!
Then every one should come with bathing suits and stuff!!! Sounds cute, huh?

you could have it at a large iceskating rink and have like a winter wonderland theme....
or if you live somewhere warm you could have a huge asz pool party with like a hawaiian theme or something tropical like that.
or.. this girl i know rented out a space at the Bronx zoo and she had a huge party in a private thing in the zoo.
