method acting is a type of acting where the actors draw from life experiences to portray emotions!! so they use real things that have happened in their life

Method acting is a way of acting that was devised by Lee Strasberg in the 1930's when he misintrepreted what Stanislavski was doing to train his actors in Russia. The Method is now passe' (out of date) as a way of training actors because it teaches "acting" and today's actors do not "act" they "react."
