I do not necessarily fear love but rather commitment. LOL

I have been infatuated with others, but I've never actually fell "head-over-heels" over anyone.

No..I haven't regretted falling in love or am I afraid to love.
I'm more afraid of not being loved as much I hope and what to be loved by that person.

I have to agree with those voting yes. I'm not sure I will ever believe in romantic love again. I felt so treasured and cherished for more than a decade and then.... love? Keep the fairy tales for the children, somebody needs to believe.

I don't regret anything because that just holds you back in life.
I'm definitely not afraid to love, but when it gets to a certain part in the relationship (at around the 1.5 year mark), I begin to over think things and want to pull away.
I don't even regret dating the guy who abused me because it taught me something in life and now I know I deserve better than that. Even horrible experiences in life teach you something and help you become who you are today.

Yes, I don't want to put myself back out there, hurts way too bad when it doesn't work out. As far as the regret, not really because I am much stronger, more self reliant person. (But he is still a lying a--hole lol)

If you like being loved, which most of us do, then you should not be afraid to love. It makes people feel good and wanted.

Yep, when you love someone, they can hurt you, you seem to care what they think, how the feel and what they do. It sucks unless the love you and care about you the same way, the pain is erased then, but thats hard to find.

I used to be afraid to love somebody, until recently.

I was afraid to love because my parents divorced when I was young & I believe that if your parents divorced, then you're more likely to divorce.

But, I with this amazing guy right now & says I'm perfect & he treats me good & listens. I feel so lucky!
