That would be silly.
Evolution is a partially proved theory, the best we presently have in science.
All theories are open to discussion and being disproved. Science is about discovering facts, not about beliefs.
In science, nothing is written in stone.
That's why the Darwinists are so silly. They pretend to use "science" to disprove "religion" when all they end up doing is showing how little they understand of religion OR science.
I accept that evolution is the best theory presently available to science based on the evidence available.
I also know that it is only partially proved because we cannot yet go back in time to see the evidence, though we have some in the form of fossil record evidence, but in time, if valid, it will prove out or not by observation and experiment.
I know that science is NOT in the business of disproving something like God exists. That's just silly. You can't disprove something exists unless you can exhaustively test all things for the lack of that thing.
Simply put, it is silly to believe in evolution as it is a scientific theory.
It is not silly to believe in God as we have no way to prove his existence one way or another, and thus God is one correct subject for belief.

Show me anything in the Bible that has been proven. There are stories of this or that in it (maybe some may have happened but there is little proof)....so to use this book as the basis of understanding of the world you live would be foolish and believe fairie tales over scientific fact. To automatically assume that a mysterious god is responsible for everything is very simple and naive. I'm not saying that God doesn't exist, but that if He exists, he certainly doesn't play in every inning or even every game

Yes I accept the ideas of evolution. I guess that means I will go to hell according to those of religious right.

Life can evolve. That's proven. The biotech industry is reliant on this. Bacteria evolve in labs, and even insects have been observed to evolve over time (some species of a moth are special case in London). So the fact that organisms can evolve has been documented.

Yes. I understand the theory and the evidence. Is it the "right" explanation or the only "explanation?" Well, it makes more sense in a common sense world than saying the world was "created" in 7 of our days. But mythos and spiritual beliefs require interpretation. So it's problable the creation story doesn't mean 7 of our days, or that it was a sacred spiritual time that doesn't mean the same as "time" as we use that word in science.
In other words, there are limits to my knowledge in mythos, logos, intuition, and spirituality. Those are human limits that another of our mythos stories tells us we shouldn't try to overcome by taking an apple from the tree of knowledge. There's so much I can learn and know about that that limitation doesn't bother me. But there are lots of people who refuse limitations. I call that the arrogance of "knowingness."

Yes. And any politician who says otherwise demonstrates a disturbing lack of grounding in reality. As Rudy Giuliani said, "If you can't face reality, you don't deserve to be president."

I think there is strong evidence of evolution.
But I think if it did happen it was by intelligent design.
