It's just that the class that I need to take in Spring is not offered at my college but is offered at a nearby college. As much as possible I don't want to leave my present school, so I am just wondering if I can take a couple of classes from another college while still going to my college.

You can if the first college says that they will accept the courses that you want to take for credit.

Yes, you can do this. There is no guarantee, though, that the courses you take at the other college will transfer to yours, unless you first get permission to use them toward your degree, so make sure you do that.
