I'm just curious as to which schools I might have a chance of getting into...I have a 4.16 gpa, with 4 extracurricular activities, ranging from service clubs to debate teams, and 1 spring sport, track. I also take ap and honors classes. I haven't taken my SAT's just yet, and I'm not ready to apply to colleges yet, either, but I'm just wondering where I could go for college. Any ideas?

Can you plz name some places that might accept me? I really have no idea, and I don't want to look stupid and apply to good universities that will all reject me. Hmm...like, what did you have to do to get into a good school?

Your GPA will not exclude you from any school -- even the most exclusive. But more information is needed to give you a good answer. With a very high SAT score, you would meet the qualifications for Ivy League caliber schools.

Meeting the qualifications and actually getting in are two different things. Schools like Harvard, Princeton, Chicago, Stanford and Duke turn down more qualified students than they accept. You will need to make yourself stand out. A lot of people think they can do this with extracurricular activities. While they help, I suspect that schools don't put as much weight on them as possible -- because they are easy to pad and hard to verify. Interviews and admissions essays will be critical in getting in.

The good news is that you will certainly get into some decent universities if you continue doing well.

Web sites like Princeton Review have a tool where you tell them about your interests & background and it spits out a list of schools that are appropriate for you. You should find this useful once you take the SAT. The link is below.
