What is a waiver? Do i need them? HELP

Waivers allow fair access to players.... all players are on waivers after a draft for a cetain period of time and then waivers set an order for who gets first choice of players that are still available in case more than one manager wants that player...once you excersize a waiver than you beccome the last team in waiver order

That is impossible. That's the reason why fantasy sports try to make things fair and such. If you knew than there won't be a point in having waivers You just have to anticipate the other peoples next moves. If the player is good you might have to consider sacrificing it.

A waiver is the same in any fantasy sport. You drop someone from your roster to free up a spot for an available player. There is always some kind of ranking system to see what team gets to pick ahead of another team. Some do it where the worst team in the standings always gets first pick; others do it where the lowest scoring losing team (in head to head play) gets first pick. Leagues do it differently, but the principle is the same. You claim someone and drop someone else.
