Why would you want to configure Outlook to access your Yahoo Mail? Seems like extraneous measures when you can simple go to mail.yahoo.com.

Your work proxy is blocking it either way.

P.S. Finish your question next time.

Actually, in order to access a Yahoo mail account with Outlook, you must pay for the Plus mail. If you have Plus, it is because your work has blocked access to an outside POP3 accounts. There is no way around this.
just use the web if you have access to that. If not, wait till you get home to check your mail.

Yahoo mail cannot be accessed via Outlook, unless it is powered by your ISP, (eg @btinternet.com)

@yahoo. addresses are web mail only.

Thumbs down all you like, but be assured, free yahoo mail accounts can NOT be used from Outlook.
