I wrote this poem for a little girl who went missing 4 months ago, her name was Maddie..
We tucked you into bed, we kissed you goodnight. We only wished the best for you tonight.
We closed the door and turned off the lights. We went to bed and fell asleep that night. We woke up in the morning, only to find your bed empty. We looked everywhere but you just weren't there. We called the police they said they would try. But nothing ever happened, now all we can do is cry. We hope all is well and we pray everyday that you come home. We don't know if that will happen but we will always hope. We love you dearly we want you to know, and I hope you are fine, just a little girl on her own..

very nice heartfelt poem.I feel for those parents too as i can;t even imagine losing your child not knowing if there alive or dead; or are they suffering or treated gently,,keep writing as your words and poetry touched my heart deeply
