We have both been checked and we do not have an STD. We do not use warming lubricant or any lubricant at all. After we have intercourse I burn terribly inside my vagina. It goes away after about 30 to 40 minutes but the sensation is overwhelming and feels as if I have had a hot curling iron inside of me. Each time we make love the sensation seems to get worse. Could this just be the increase blood flow to that area? or does anyone else have any suggestions? I had a complete hysterectomy 5 years ago.

He does not have the burning. Only I have the burning. AGAIN! we were both checked for ALL STD's including AIDS! We are both clean of those and it only seems to be my problem.

It seems to me that if you are both clean of all std's then you might have an infection and need to see your doctor, or you just need to use some sort of lubricant. Most women do have a problem with burning and lack of lubricant after a hysterectomy. Your doctor should be able to explain this to you at your next visit. Unless you have any unusual discharge or odor, I would wait and ask at your next appointment. :)

You need to go get another check up . A hysterectomy is not going to cause this type of burning in your vagina, Really what your explaining sounds like an std. Do you have a discharge at all? Just go get a second opinion your Doc. should have been a little more helpful to you. Maybe you do have an std and it didn't show up on the test results this time go get another one.

That's due to the fact you're no longer lubricated adequate. You can get lubricants from decide on pharmacies or supermarkets. Because you're no longer lubricated adequate, the burning sensation that you just felt is the friction among dermis and dermis touch. This is traditional.

get to your doctor tomorrow... you probably have some type of infection... I take it your partner is male. If he has that same feeling, he too should get to the doctor and find out.. Why would anyone wait this long?? It has to be something to do with him I would think... are you sure he was checked for syphillis??? Sounds like that's what he's got if he has the same feeling after climax... hmmmmmmm

see if you're either a: being lied to about someones std results or if you're, b: one of the very few people who are allergic to their partners sperm... yes you can actually be allergic to it...weird huh?....you might want to try a lubricant too and see if that helps

This happened to me and I went to the doctor and found out that it was only a yeast infection. Try going to your doctor and having him/her write you a prescription for diflucan.

You're not lubricated enough. Try K-Y Jelly.
