I tried everything and nothing worked for me. I am now on accutane. It is the best thing I had ever done for myself.

From my contact Kelley E = Bad acne comes from the gut and is a complex condition. No drug can cure the underlying condition.
Here's what where bad acne gets its start. In most cases, it's due to prior exposure to antibiotics, birth control (not in your case) or other drugs. The antibiotics from early childhood can rear it's ugly head years later.
The drugs have the effect of allowing yeast to flourish. When this happens the yeast grows tails or roots that poke holes in the intestines.
That allows partially digested food to pass through into the bloodstream. As you can imagine, you don't want partially digested food floating around in your bloodstream.
You've probably heard that french fries clog your pores. That's not too far from the truth when you realize that the poorly digested stuff can end up in your bloodstream, thereby overworking your immune system bigtime.
So lets get rid of the yeast and patch up those holes.
One needs two things to blast control yeast: Olive leaf extract, and PB-8. The olive leaf kills the yeast overgrowth while the PB-8 is the best product I've seen for keeping the yeast from spreading.
To patch the holes, I like either IntestiNew or Glutamine (5 grams 2x a day.)
You'll probably want to use digestive enzymes, too, when you eat, to give your digestive tract the rest it needs to do the healing we're talking about.
Take care.

i used to have acne, and i had it for like 2 or 3 years too
but it went away :D i still have a little
but trust me, it may not feel like it right now, but it will go away ^_^
but until it does, it's best to go to a dermatologist
i spent so much time messing around with all this crappy stuff that didnt work at all
and then what the dermatologist prescribed really helped
cause they know what's best for your skin type and how bad it is ^_^ (like, it's severeness)

Ok, Proactive is crap. End of story.
I use Glytone, and it really works. You can find it online, or your dermatologist can give you a prescription.
And if that doesn't work, see a dermatologist. They can recommend medicine specially for you.

if you have tried all the over the counter products you need to see your Doctor
its possible it is hormonal and an imbalance and you can get medication to help balance out the hormones.
Also dont forget what you put in your body make sure you eat properly lots of veg & fruit drink lots of water and get plenty of excercise and fresh air.
