It is not clear which fund you are referring. Presuming that you are referring to mutual fund and periodical dividend declared on them, I have to say that each scheme has two types of accounting. In one no dividend is declared and distributed. In the second ,periodical dividend is given to the investors but the NAV (net asset value ) of the units is reduced.Some schemes declare a dividend but reinvest the same into more units of the same scheme. Such changes in holdings are invariably advised to the investor by a letter. I hope I have dealt with your query correctly.
