Yes it is amazing what love can do. Let all your affairs take place with love. Only by cultivating love can we have the capacity to extend, enlarge, and enrich love. But it is often a misguided, deteriorated, twisted love. For example, a parent may have affection for his child. But he may let that love deteriorate or he may be misguided because of sentimentality, giving the child everything and and denying him nothing. He may not exercise his parental authority in giving discipline and at times actual chastisement. Such supposed love may actually be family pride, which is selfishness. Such a person is exercising, not love but hate, because he is not taking the course that will save his child's life. Love builds up. Love is not sentimentality. It is firm, strong, directed by wisdom. Adhering first of all to that which is chaste, right.
Love is guided by principle, as love of righteousness or even love for ones enemies, for whom a person may not have affection. This facet or expression of love is an unselfish devotion to a sincere concern for the lasting welfare of others, along with an active expression of this for their good.
Love is to be, not merely an outward expression, but a love that reflects the total inner person. Love involves the emotions. But if the mind is not equipped with knowledge of what true love is and how it acts, love can be expressed in the wrong direction. Love is the most important quality in us. Love must be carried out with the soul, every fiber of ones organism, and all ones strength must be put behind that effort.

Only partially. If it is love in the broader sense, like passion for certain things, family love or universal love, it sometimes work. If its the kind of love that makes us lose ourself, I think alot of opinions from outsiders are needed. Sometimes, when we are head over heels over somebody, we do things that are unwise just to prove a point or satisfy somebody we love. Often, we do it even against our wiser inner voice, just to prove that we are on the same wavelength with somebody just to win that heart. (I am still wondering if that is possible or will we be happy if the ultimate goal is achieved). Then again, if that person is wise and sincere in guiding us to a better path, why not? There is no agree or not agree which is the right answer as it is not possible to judge that situation without knowing the specifics of it. It varies case to case. We have to view it impartially especially when it comes to philosophical questions like yours.

Somehow I agree.... But sometimes when we let our love guide our life it lead us to a wrong path. That may end up into broken hearts and disappointments....

It is amazing what love can do - most people hear the word love and all they think of is romantic/sexual love. So, let's also think of the love of family, friends, humanity, God, etc. If you let your love of humanity and nature help guide your actions - think about it - wouldn't the world be a much more harmonious place?

Love is the willingness to be committed to the sanctity of the
individual's prerogative and right(given that person by God) to a contrary world view but it is not a celebration of someone else's
contrary world view. Do I say to a person who is a murderer my prerogative, my privilege here is to tell you no matter what I really love you? That is not love but that is a distortion of love.

“Love is patient; love is kind
and envies no one.
Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude;
never selfish, not quick to take offense.
There is nothing love cannot face;
there is no limit to its faith,
its hope, and endurance.
In a word, there are three things
that last forever: faith, hope, and love;
but the greatest of them all is love.”
