When you correlate the reliability of the sources with the degree of education of it's viewers and the political leanings of the particular news source what you find is that ignorant people in general watch FOX NEWS.
The root cause of conservative ignorance is still open for debate. But there is definitely a correlation.

Possessing a college degree is a sign of what your intelligence is???.....Hmmm....I know quite a few college graduates who didn't have a dimes worth of sense between them....and I know some who are some of the smartest people I've ever met...same with non degree people...I do not have a degree....I choose to work in a trade and do a pretty good job at it...I would NEVER try to influence someone away from a college education...as a matter of fact I try to influence towards college....but to say that someone is intelligent just because they have a degree is plain silly. Polls like these just divide and point out peoples differences and are an effort to polarize...

Fox News is like the National Enquirer of news station. You have too uneducated and gullible to believe anything they report.

It's called truthiness. If you don't have a fact, or you don't like it, then make another one up. Competition of the facts. That's called capitalism. The truth shouldn't have a monopoly on facts. If it does, then the market falls apart, Fox news would be gone, and Global warming would be real. Do you want polar bears coming in your house? Then I suggest you make up your own facts and stop stealing them.

And that's today's wΦrd.

Conservatives overwhelmingly are blinded by the stereotype of "liberal" and therefor are only subject to the entertaining of any idea spoken by a "conservative".

To get ideas about how government should work from Rush Limbaugh is recipee for disaster.

I think that educated people are smart enough to get their news from a variety of sources, and formulate their own opinions.

Conservatives as in the preacher telling them that Kerry is Hitler and vote Bush solely for abortion. The parishners are allowed to agree with "Amen," Halleluyah," and "That's Right Brother." Any other person who tries to use freedom of speech is escorted out the door. By the way I turned the church in to lose their IRS tax exemption status for endorcing a presidential candidate.

Polls. Yes, they're the end-all for information and conclusions. If this makes you feel justified in veiled insults, then so be it.
By the way, I'm a college grad who enjoys Rush, Bill, and Fox News. OMG!

I would say this could be why conservatives who believe Fox broadcasts "News" and that O'Reilly is a "News' commentator are so seriously misinformed.

But make no mistake: Radio and TV personalities such as Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter KNOW the facts of the issues on which they comment, they choose pandering to the lowest common denominator over broadcasting 'facts" (I shy away from the word "Truth", that's for philosophers to decide). This represents not only irresponsible journalism, it's tabloid TV at its most cynical and manipulative, misinformation being broadcast as entertainment.
