In the 90s most people were saying Biggie was the GOAT. Now people are always saying it's Jay, Pac, and Nas. Is Biggie losing popularity or what

Biggie is just assumed to be the GOAT, so i don't need to say it all the time.

its a newer generation........ppl in the 90's were callin Biggie the G.O.A.T. cuz thats what they witnessed first hand, thats what they grew up with. those same ppl probably still believe that, but alot of kids today probably couldnt recite a Biggie verse, let alone call him the g.o.a.t. over (presumably) Pac-whom thru history has always been more popular wit the younger generation (even though most of them are hop-ons)

Okay....Biggie had great lyrics....BUT.....When we say 2Pac is the greatest rapper of all-time we mean that because what Pac had to say.....I mean what did Biggie actually say that can stick with you....you know **** that you can zone out with.....Now Pac

"Brenda's got a baby"
"Keep Ya Head Up"
"Papaz Song"
"Trapped"
"So Many Tears"
"Dear Mama"
"Can U Get Away"
"Old School"
"Life Goes On"
"White Man'z World"
"Hold Ya Head"
"Unconditional Love"
"Changes"
"Trapped"
"Ghetto Gospel"

DAMN.......and the list goes on and on.....and don't try to give me that **** that Biggie didn't get a chance to reach his potential.....2Pac first album dropped in Oct. 1991, second 1993 he was in jail from late 1994 to mid 1995 and he died in September 1996.....so we looking at maybe 3.5 years of ACTIVITY.....most of which was written from late 1995 to mid 1996.

Stan checking in...lol Iono...standards are just lowering lol...Also due to the fact Big is dead and pretty much died before he could show his true potential...Pac idk? But Jay and Nas are still here...so it just might be a pop. thing
