I don't know how true this is But I heard Boston is going to
host the 2012 all star game when fenway is 100 years old
so Don't look for a New Baseball park until the 2012 season
is over

Well, see Fenway park has sold-out for so many consecutive games I lost count... So as a Red Sox fan and if I was the owner I would personally look to build a stadium that could hold atleast 60,000... Considering Fenway only holds around 35,000 max.... But what would happen to Wally(the team mascot).... Considering the new Fenway wouldn't have a green monster anymore... haha.

Okay towards New Bedford, MIT stadium is brand new.
The Kenmore uptown called B.U. is 30 years old, was
part of the Red sox, over 5000 games. Fenway is theirs,
and just did a cover makeover with new food clubs. Good
location for buses, and tourists. Green monster was
actually nearly recreated for B.U. off Harvard square.
Then the old was dropped by 10-11 feet from original
height.

Let's hope Fenway Park stands for another 100 years or so, and is the site of many more historic moments in baseball. It is a grand of stadium that needs to live on!

I think it's ridiculous teams are getting new stadiums just for money. What about all the memories? What about the fans? If you really wanted to please them, keep the original stadium because it will have more sentimental value. If the Red Sox ever get rid of Fenway or the Cubs of Wrigley.......it's like, there will be a whole new era of baseball starting.

And then there were two .You would think that MLB would step in and make sure that neither Fenway nor Wrigley or are ever torn down. As a fan I would have no problem with a buck being added to my ticket prices to insure that those two ballparks remain as they are .

Hmmm...Nothing wrong with Fenway just the way it is...The curse was broken 3 years ago in case you didn't know...and Boston likes its history...but I'm sure a new stadium will probably happen within 10 years...

If they do get a new stadium, betcha they take their Green Monster along with them. The old Cleveland stadium was replaced by the Jake. All the history of the old stadium was moved to the Jake. If ya haven't seen the Jake yet, ya need to. It was built because the old stadium had horrible seating. Boston probably couldn't play without their Monster.

Nope. Fenway forever. Owner John Henry is making sure of this by adding new seats every off-season.
