so what are they complaining about?... can the action of a handful of misguided elements be used to generalise that indians are racists. in my opinion, i have found a brute majority of our peoples appreciate good cricket from indians and visiting teams?

Depends on which ground you are playing, against whom you are playing and the previous history too.
Is indians & aussies are playing for the first time, no one will tell anything.
Its just one small incident between two players, that gets boiled up and come to such a nasty statement.
The media to get more coverage and more voice spice up everything to make things worse.
Every nation has racist fans, if they are a true fan, but only for that sports, but that cannot be generalized as their general behaviour.
As the previous answer also says, if I say something more, I will also be seen as a racist...
But let me tell u, without such fanatics, there's going to be a series of DULL games ahead.

Though many foreign teams have visited India all these years, no one has complained against indian public. On the conbtrary all the teams have appreciated Indian hospitality. Australia have been known for sledging the world over and till now they have not experienced getting back what they give. Hence when they too get back their dose of medicine they get hurt. Nothing new about it. Now they know that sledging is not their monopoly and others are also capable of that.
