i have to write an essay about death of a salesman
the question is do you think willy loman dies because of his beliefs or because of the way society treated him
any examples from the play to back up your thoughts is appreciated

It's a complex issue. The main reason would be because of how he was treated. Not left behind, the opportunity would not have arisen. Not a few bricks short of a load, he would not have trusted his brother.
His beliefs and dreams had to die so he had to die but he died because of his disability.

Keep your points, kid, they are meaningless. Read the material and do your own homework as the teacher requested. get away from teh television set and Hannah Montana, out of the mall, and off your lazy behind. Yours is the laziest generation yet. And don't give us this crap about how this is just something you wanted to know about Death of a Salesman. Every kid here has tried that one, so forget it. Now get to work and stop asking others to do it for you! The first poster is a total doofus for having answered you. Apparently, he does other people's homework for them. What an idiot!
