You missed the whole point, I am saying it is a lawyer suing the florist. For $24,000 worth of flowers, you can justify suing for 400,000? I don't get it.

Contract or no..anyone who spends $27,000 on flowers is:
1. Stark nuts.
2. Unable to hire good overseers.
3. Stark nuts - oh, wait, I said that.

This will turn into ''he said-she said'' and the lawyers win again.

No, I do not think the lawyers are "big bullies" for representing a client who wants to sue because of service that did not conform to the legal contract. First, it is not the lawyers who troll the streets calling "lawsuits, anyone want to file lawsuits". We quietly sit in our office waiting for a client who wants our representation in court.

Second, although this may seem like a trivial suit to some, the basis of this suit is a legal contract. This contract specified in detail the types of floral arrangements for a wedding, the absolute biggest day of a person's life. Just like the florist would be justifiably angry if the bride had paid in Euros or some non US currency or paid late or didn't pay at at -- which all would be against the terms of the contract, the bride/groom are justifiably upset that the florist did not follow the terms of the contract on what kinds of flowers to provide.

How exactly are lawyers "big bullies" because they represent people who want to enforce the terms of a legal contract that both parties negotiated in good faith? If we, as consumers allow service providers to go back on the terms of a valid contract we open the door to having these service providers just take our money and give us whatever they want.
