Looking for my favourite song but I know neither the title nor the artist!?

Question

The song is a foreign one, can't figure out the language, but it sounds Spanish or Portuguese or Italian!It's got loads of accordeon in it and the singer is a woman.A word I can make out in the chorus is 'la fantasia'.Has anyone got a clue??Please help!

Seriously, though, I understand your quandry,
because I was in the same boat,
knowing only the chorus line of a song,
which, unfortunately, used very common English words.
It took two years before I found the song,
totally by accident, while shopping for music at a store!

Unfortunately, without having heard your song,
it is virtually impossible to identify it with the little info you gave
(BTW, you misspelled "accordion").

So, enter the following line EXACTLY as you see it
into your favorite search engine,
and, hopefully, something will seem familiar to you:

"la fantasia" song lyrics

Of course, that presumes that you spelled "la fantasia" correctly!
If not, try variations,
such as "le fantasia" or "la phantasie" etc.
(BTW, adding the word "accordion" won't help,
because most lyric websites don't list any instruments
or other production information).
