I'm not a Yankee fan either--your best bet would be Girardi,Guidry or Mattingly...If I were a fan,I would root for LaRussa to jump off the Card ship and lead you guys back to glory. You need a no nonsense baseball tough guy!

I think it should be Don Mattingly because the Yankees need to keep in the organization, and he is ready. Tony Pena is not right for the Yankees. Joe Girardi should be Mattingly's bench coach.

Hmmmm....well query. Their was once speak over the offseason approximately Steinbrenner firing Torre after which getting Lou Pinella for supervisor. I desire they on no account get Pinella however, I consider Don Mattingly, Joe Girardi, Tony Pena or Larry Bowa could be well. I imply, most of these coaches have quality attitudes and know the way to play the sport proper however, Pinella does not have a quality perspective. He will get disillusioned over each little factor!

I'm not a Yankees fan, but I think that they made a stupid decision to get rid of Torre. He was a good manager.

Tony La Russa - the young pitching staff will need a manager who can bring them along with pace, not haste.
