shahid afridi and no doubt about it
yuvraj?????????? i dont think that he is an allrounder he hit 6 six on 6 balls but if you remmember that gibbs also hit 6 six on same balls in a one day so i dont think that he is a hitter imran nazir can better play than him
sorry but fact is fact
every man sport his country team players but i dont think that yuvi known as a hitter and good allrounder in international level sorry indians
but afridi
when he come to bat in any country or any city in the world the people who watching the match totaly what can i say yes going to mad and as a bowler afridi is much better than yuvi
and as a match winner if yoy remmember the match between west indies and india so what do you say when yuvi bowled out on last bowl.and afridi save more matches 4 us 4m bat or bowl
last afridi is in top 10 allrounders ranking of icc
so
no comparison between afridi and yuvi.afridi is all time best

Boss.. First thing is that Yuvraj is not a regular bowler. He does not bowl in each and every match. So, he is not to be called an allrounder.
Second, Afridi is a slogger. He can only slog the ball. So, he is not to be called a batsman. Good batting is not hitting sixes or taking gamble.
Third is comparing them. You are comparing a modest bowler with a good batsman. Match winning is not about scoring some 40 runs in 20 balls hitting 6 sixes. Match winning is standing there withering to all types of bowlings ensuring the the country wins. Afridi is no match to Yuvraj in that area. Yuvraj is a proper middle-order batsman where as Shahid is more treated like a slogger or a pinch-hitter than a batsman.
When it comes to fielding, no one can put Afridi before Yuvraj. Yuvraj is an excellent fielder of the standards of Gibbs, Bell, Symmonds etc., Afridi is an average sub-continental standard fielder.
So, the question should be who is a better player?. Answer is Yuvraj unless you are a Pakistani.

of course there is no doubt that shahid afridi is a good batsman as well as a good bowler, but also on the other hand yuvraj singh is equally good.he is a good striker and also is a good fielder.his stunts in the ground has obviously impressed not only youngsters but also the middle aged n aged people from all over the world.we should also not forget that yuvi had scored a marvellous six 6's in an over, which was something unique.so i think yuvi is better than afridi in some points.

Its always hard to compare two cricketers as who is the best, no doubt Afridi has bowled more than Yuvi in cricket so he got more wickets, but here we cannot undermine the talent Yuvi has shown in recent days especially 20-20 format. I appreciate Afridi got man of the series but it was Yuvi who shatterred the records, Longest Six, max sixes, fastest 50 and he still carries the same form. He is still talk of the world in cricket with immense power of hitting. I really think Yuvi has much heavier side in batting compared to Afridi, whereas in respect to bowling he need to be given more opportunities, because talent is nothing without opportunity.
We will get clearer pictue after recent series
Good luck to both of them
cheers

Talent wise both are awesome. Both Yuvi and Afridi are good strikers and good bowlers.
But I think, if we just talk about talent, I think Afridi gets to be a better all rounder than Yuvi. Eventhough Afridi might be inconsistent, we also should not forget the fact that Yuvi is not a consistent batsman either! And more over, Afridi's bowling is much better than Yuvi.
Afridi is a strike bowler, and Yuvi is a part time bowler. Bowling talent is high with Afridi, and their batting talent are the same. Just that, Afridi needs to apply himself without playing erratic cricket!
So, Afridi!

I think yuvi is best , nobody can beat him as an allrounder.
Though shahid holds a record of quickest century , but he hasn't gave as much match winning knock to his team than yuvi has given, remember the netwest series!!.Whenever yuvi scores 50 odd runs india wins the match. So, yuvi is most important part of indian team than shahid is for pakistan. And it is great to have player like yuvi in ur side who can turn out the match position in no time. Also, he is very much adaptable to situations. That is, whenever india requires him to b on crease & play safely he can do it but not shahid.Although shahid holds more wicket than yuvi he is also more no. of time responsible for putting his team in deep trouble.
So,the conclusion 4m this discussion is that yuvi is good, better & best than shahid...

My answer is Yuvraj is better all rounder than Afridi at this present condition.coz yuvi is well in bat compared to afridi.
Even now a days afridi got only 7th or 8th position in bat. He is getting enough chance to prove himself .The high strike rate are doesn't matter but when comparing to avg yuvi is far better than afridi.

Guys
u will find my answer a little ridiculous,
Shahid is a better Allrounder but yuvraj is a better sportperson , a tough Human being. He is batting good at the moment. His fielding is solid.
hats off to him not for hitting six sixes but for playing cricket after injury. Guys this person has a torn ligament (ACL)which cant heal without surgery and he has returned without surgery just by doing exercises. i dont say he is the best Batsman but any guy who can play sports and field awsome with unstable knee has to have some heart to dive around knowing that his knee can give away any moment.
This person wins cos off his mental strength. i still wonder how he did hit that six with bended knee agnst England when i cant bend my knee that much after surgery !!!!!

Yuvi is not as good bowler as Shahid Afridi, but Yuvi is better than Shahid Afridi in batting cause this Shahid Afridi always try to attack and he gets out quiet easily but Yuvi is not a player of that kind. Yuvi utilises the situation and get back the required run rate or if India's batting first he will play slowly for 35 overs and then he starts to make the run rate jumping and jumping.

Currently i would have to go with Afridi.. the main reason being he can bowl better.. We recently saw them in the T20 which is the best format of the game for them.. And even though UV was in fine nick n batted beautifully, Afridi bowled really well n walked away with the man of the tourney award and we all kno how destructive he can be with the bat..
However, i would say UV is the best all rounder for India, Irfan Pathan comin in at a close 2nd place!
