I typically use Norton AntiVirus but I wanted to know if it's one of the best ones. If it's not then I'm gonna switch to a better one. Any reccomendations? The only other antivirus I've heard about is Mcafee...

I would say the top is Kaspersky, after reading multiple reviews from magazines and websites. In my experience it had slow scan times, but very good virus protection.

Norton is not very good and is often criticized for just trying to sell you their other products. It's also a very computer intensive program because of bloat.

NOD 32 is a very good 1
Norton is alright but I wouldn't say it's the best
The truth is the best antivirus is you, be careful with email you don't know where its from and strange links.
