Life's greatest mystery is the adsence of life itself. Meaning what was there before life or what is there after life? it's the single most mysterious thing humans have encountered since the dawn of time and still does and has left lots of evidence for that. Example the Egyptian Pyramids & so on....

Probably why so many people seem to think that there -is- some great mystery to life. It is here for us to experience and enjoy. We may be curious about many things and learn how many things function, but the reality of life is that it is -far- more than simply physical. It contains a spiritual component that we each must delve into for ourselves. And that is the thing that makes us all so very different and also so totally identical.

Consciousness is said to be "one of the last great mysteries for science". It is at once the most familiar thing in the world and the most difficult to explain.
The central mystery has fascinated philosophers for thousands of years; that the universe seems to contain two completely different kinds of thing. On the one hand are bodies and brains - physical objects that we can touch and measure; on the other are conscious experiences - private and subjective feelings that we cannot get at directly. We can ask people what they are experiencing, record their words, and measure what happens in their brains, but somehow this doesn't seem to capture the "what it's like" of subjective experience.

Life itself is a great mystery. I suppose the greatest one depends on which one we choose to explore. Some would say death, others would say religion, I myself will say love. I would be interested in hearing yours. Of course we never really learn who others are, let alone who we ourselves are.

I think it is the fact that we are connected to the spiritual world at
all times from the moment we are born to the day we die. It is from this world that we sustain all life on earth. It is from this world that birds get their instinct to fly. It is from this world that many thoughts come. This connection is a great mystery that was revealed in 1758 to Emmanel Swedenborg by the Lord Himself...

Life itself. Only one thing is certain when you are born, and that is that one day you will die. Nobody knows when that day will arrive or what will happen between those two important days. So enjoy life every single day because it could be your last.
